This picture appeared in the local newspaper when Jamie had competed in the inaugural Kennel Gazette Junior Warrant Winner of the Year competition in London. Helen was quoted as saying "We had a fun day. It was just lovely to see so many beautiful dogs in the room. There were no losing dogs - it was an achievement to get there. We are very proud of him."

Sadly, Helen died on the 14th June 2001. She will be greatly missed by many people but all will have some fond memory of her whether it be of her dogs, their achievements or of some particular conversation they had with her.

The kennel will continue and will strive to live up to the high standards she set over the past thirty years.
